ZRON provides services to clients all around the world. ZRON has the responsibility to protect each client and provide them with the best services available. The following guidelines were designed to insure these services.
Content
All services provided by ZRON may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, unlicensed software or files, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ZRON from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.
Examples of BANNED content, links or programs:
- Pirated software
- Illegal MP3's
- Hackers programs or archives
- Warez sites
- Pornography or adult sites of ANY kind
- Ikonboard
- YaBB
- UltimateUBB
- SPAM mailings of ANY kind
- Proxy scripts and/or servers
- Internet Relay Chat (IRC) bots and/or servers
- Eggdrops
- The Anonymizer
- ANY chat applications/programs
- FormMail scripts earlier than Matt Wright's v1.92 script
- ANY spamming, hacking or cracking scripts
ZRON will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
Unlimited Traffic/Hits & Server Resource Usage
ZRON is pleased to offer our clients unlimited traffic/hits, and server usage. Unlimited traffic/hits refers to the number of visitors to your website, NOT the amount of bandwidth/data transfer. Your account is still limited to the allotted bandwidth/data transfer included with your selected package. To maintain the integrity of our service, the following traffic/usage limitations apply:
- Sites with banners, graphics or CGI's running from their domain and being used on other domains.
- Sites with immense graphic/image archives/galleries.
- Sites offering immense download archives, such as .zip, .tar, .ra and .gz.
- Sites running ANY chat room programs.
If you do not qualify for unlimited traffic/hits, your account may be required to be upgraded, or ZRON may move your site to a different server, to reduce the load on the server you are currently residing. ZRON will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of usage limitations. Bandwidth/data transfer will go unmonitored until you reach your account limit, then normal over-usage data transfer costs will apply.
Chat Rooms
ZRON does NOT allow clients to install their own chat rooms on our servers. The reason for this policy is that these programs tend to be very large system hogs and usually fall under the usage limitations clause. We recommend to our clients who wish to incorporate a chat room into their websites that they look to the many outside services who offer them, like BraveNet.
Background Processes/Programs
ZRON may allow programs to run continually in the background, these are considered on a one to one basis and a extra charge may be incured based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed.
ZRON does allow Cron Jobs to be executed on our servers provided they do not run constantly nor consume too much system resources.
ZRON currently does NOT allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.
FTP and Telnet Connections
Multiple FTP sessions are allowed on a single hosting account. ZRON may disconnect any idle connection to the network. Telnet sessions are permitted but made available ONLYwhen requested through a Help Desk support ticket in advance. This stringent policy is for your protection and the security of your website.
Commercial Advertising — Email
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from a ZRON server or using an email address that is maintained on a ZRON machine is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. For general reference, we consider spam any email that is sent to more than 10 people at a time that did not ask for it to be sent to them. ZRON will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Opt-In email is acceptable, as long as Opt-Out/Removal requests are fully honored.
Server Abuse
Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to a ZRON server or customer of ZRON is strictly prohibited. ZRON will pursue legal action to the fullest extent for all abuse of the ZRON Network.
Quality of Service
ZRON strives to provide the high levels of quality service for all of its clients. This also means that clients must not take actions that are detrimental to the quality of service of their fellow clients. Clients who take actions that are disruptive to the services provided by ZRON and that impact other clients and the quality of service they receive through ZRON will be subject to suspension and/or de-activation.
Suspension & De-Activation
If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed it will result in grounds for account suspension or de-activation. Forefront Internet reserves the right to remove any account without prior notice. If ZRON deactivates your account(s) for violating policy, your will forfeit your rights to a refund. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN, INCLUDING PRE-PAYMENTS, on de-activated accounts. Our Normal Policy is a warning first and account de-activation on the the second offense. Serious offenses may cause immediate de-activation.
